Problem
Everything lived on paper — pawn tickets, interest and gold stock in separate books. Hard to audit, and this is work where the money cannot be wrong.
Approach
One system for every workflow, with owner and staff permissions split apart, an approval step before entries commit, and staff logins locked outside shop hours.
Outcome
Running at the counter for five months, with a second shop's version now in development.
